Version 7.0 brings the ability to copy actions between objects (even from different books!), the merging of pages to different backgrounds, a tool to save and restore your Command Window scripts, the ability to import/export JPEG and GIF files in addition to BMP, the ability to automatically create web graphic placeholders from external graphics located in a directory, a tool for listing all the web graphics and adjusting their external files if desired, a tool to find all your media players and list/adjust their media, the ability to import clips and see all your clip information, the ability to write your sticky notes to a file, the addition of simulation information such as Instructions and Feedback to the generated spell-check file, and much more!

In addition to all its tools, the Plug-In Pro provides interfaces to undocumented features and adds new ones. Tired of having text that you paste from Word or PowerPoint show weird font tags? Just check the "Paste as Text" button and all text will come in unformatted. Need to add a "Debug" window for testing your LMS, just check that box. Want to control the SCORM settings sent when the user closes your lesson window, select it from the Options screen. Need to dig into Actions Editor properties directly, check a box to make them show up in the Property Browser. New & Featured Tools

Plug-In Pro adds a number of cool features and functions including:

• Select a source page, background, or book and copy its actions to an object or the current page, background, or book.
• Merge pages from different backgrounds onto the same background.
• Save your Command Window scripts for later use.
• Import JPEGS and GIFS from an external directory as either resources or as web graphic placeholders.
• View and edit your external graphic placeholders.
• List your media players and their associated media.
• List your clips, their media, and their properties.
• Import clips from a directory of media files.
• Create a spell-check file with simulation information and only the pages/backgrounds/information you want.
• Click a button to see all the objects with Actions on the page or background. Select the object and then see a list to the right of the events handled for that object. Click to display the Actions Editor for that object with that event already loaded. Do that same thing with the page, background, and book itself.
• Similar functionality to the above with shared scripts. See a list of objects with shared scripts and then be able to select one and open in the script editor.
• Delete a page or range of pages (by page number or background) AND delete all the resources that are freed up by the deletions. For example, delete pages 10 – 20 and have the tool delete any bitmap or icon resources used exclusively by those pages.
• Special characters palette to make it easier to enter characters such as À, Ì, Ö, á, ó, etc.
• Export a list of clips with information about the source and other properties.
• Tool to convert all pictures to paint objects
• Export all paint objects to external files where you can edit them, replace them with a new screen capture, assign a palette, etc.
• Replace all paint objects with their matching external files. Restores name, position, layer order, group, etc.
• New “sticky note” tools to tile, resize, select , and save sticky notes.
• Color Spy tool that allows you to click on a screen region and see the color in RGB and HLS color units.

	CBT Question Editor provides a quick way to edit a question on a page. No additional pop-up boxes are needed to set all properties of the question.
	View A Page allows you to access another page in your current book or another book without having multiple instances of ToolBook open. You can copy objects from the viewed page with ease.

User Comments

	One of the Plug-In tools I use a lot is "Page - View a Page," which allows me to view another page in the same book OR a page in any other book. This is really helpful, so I use it all the time.
	Right now I am in the middle of a development project and I am making really good use of Plug-In Pro. Sure, a lot of the tools are accessible in the TB menu, but Plug-in Pro in many cases saves me three to four clicks to do the same thing. It's a no-brainer. Anyway, you probably don't hear from people much after they buy your stuff unless there is a problem - so thanks!
	If you have Plug-In Pro from Platte Canyon, you can export a range of resources. This will save you a lot of time if you have a lot of graphics.
	The Plug-In Pro software is a much appreciated time saver. The software would be worth the price if it only had one button (the compact button).
